As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, analysis, and design of large-scale civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, stability, and performance of structures, meeting both architectural and structural requirements. This position requires a high level of expertise in engineering principles and the ability to translate complex designs into practical construction solutions. You will work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to develop and oversee projects from conception through completion. A successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and plans for new construction projects.
• Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools and methods.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Review and approve structural drawings and detailed specifications.
• Assess project feasibility and conduct risk assessments for structural developments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams on-site.
• Ensure that all structural projects comply with relevant safety regulations.
• Evaluate existing structures for safety and performance improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and cost estimates for structural projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software like AutoCAD and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in engineering contexts.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
