Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Structural Design & Analysis
    Design RCC and steel structures including residential villas, commercial complexes, industrial buildings, schools, mosques, and office spaces in compliance with British, Indian, and authority standards.
    Perform modeling, analysis, and detailed design using software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, RCDC, and PROKON.
    Conduct load calculations, framing systems, and design checks ensuring safety, feasibility, and codal compliance.
    Prepare design briefs, specifications, project reports, stability reports, BOQs, and detailed structural drawings.
  • Project Management
    Lead projects from conceptual design to authority approvals and final submission.
    Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues, clash detections, and workflow challenges.
    Review shop drawings, vendor specifications, and consultant design files to ensure accuracy and compliance with authority norms (ADM, Municipality, etc.).
    Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure execution aligns with design intent and standards.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
    Work closely with architects, MEP consultants, peer reviewers, and stakeholders for integrated project delivery.
    Liaise with government and semi-government organizations for approvals and project compliance.
    Provide mentorship and allocate tasks within the engineering team to ensure timely deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong proficiency in design and analysis software: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, RCDC, PROKON, AutoCAD, LIMCON, RAM Connection, REVIT, RAPT.
  • In-depth knowledge of IS, BS, and authority regulations (UAE Municipality/ADM).
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
  • Strong adaptability, responsibility, teamwork, and inquisitive mindset.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
