Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor structural works on-site, including concrete, steel, and foundation structures.
  • Ensure that construction is executed in line with approved structural drawings, specifications, and international codes.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
  • Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and material submittals for structural works.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
  • Assist in preparing method statements, ITPs, and progress reports related to structural works.
  • Monitor site progress, manpower, and resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Report structural site issues, variations, or discrepancies to the Project Engineer/Construction Manager.
  • Support material procurement by ensuring timely requisition and delivery of structural materials.
  • Ensure safe and efficient execution of works in line with company and client standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Site Structural Engineer in civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, and related construction practices.
  • Proficiency in structural drawings, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with international codes
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and site management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
