Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and submit insurance claims through UAE e-claim portals and hospital billing systems.

  • Review claim files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with payer requirements before submission.
  • Coordinate with coding, billing, and clinical documentation teams to resolve claim-related issues.
  • Monitor claim rejections and resubmit corrected claims promptly.
  • Track claim submission timelines and ensure adherence to payer deadlines.
  • Generate and maintain submission logs, tracking reports, and performance summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with strong>DOH/strong> billing and coding standards.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and TPAs to follow up on pending claims.
  • Support denial management teams in analyzing submission errors and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all patient and financial data handled.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.

  • 2 4 years of experience in insurance claim submission or medical billing within a hospital or healthcare organization in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of e-claim processes, payer rules, and healthcare billing systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital billing platforms (e.g., Oracle, Cerner, Medisys, eClaimLink).
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
