Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Manage and motivate staff (scheduling, training, performance)
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated complaints
- Supervise cheese, olives, deli, and grocery sections
- Monitor ordering, and waste control
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and quality standards are met
- Track sales performance and support promotional activities
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- 4+ experience as a supermarket or food retail manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food handling, cheese/deli products and fresh products like juices and bakery.
- ability to work under pressure
