Job Description

As a Supplier Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient collaboration between our company and its diverse supplier network. Your primary responsibility will involve nurturing business relationships, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and facilitating the smooth flow of goods and information. You will be the critical link between our purchasing department and external suppliers, aiming to optimize the supply chain process and ensure product availability. This role requires a high level of communication proficiency, negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of supply chain and vendor management principles. It is an opportunity for a dynamic individual to impact the organization's growth by managing and optimizing supplier relationships.


Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with key suppliers.
  • Coordinate and lead contractual negotiations with new and existing suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely product delivery and quality assurance.
  • Develop strategies to manage supply chain risks and mitigate potential issues.
  • Regularly review supplier contracts to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  • Conduct supplier performance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate clear communication channels between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track market trends to adjust supply strategies proactively and competitively.
  • Coordinate resolution of any supply-related disputes or discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports on vendor performance and supply chain efficiencies for management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience of at least five years in supplier account management roles.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance metrics and data.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
