Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Officer (Stores & Purchase) to manage factory &/or warehouse operations, inventory control, and procurement processes within our paint manufacturing facility.


The role ensures timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, maintains accurate stock records, and supports production and project teams. The incumbent will ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and UAE Labour Law, while contributing to process efficiency and cost optimization.


Key Responsibilities:


Stores & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and goods against purchase orders

  • Issue materials to production and project teams as per requisitions

  • Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and cycle counts

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and categorization of warehouse items following safety and HSE guidelines

  • Coordinate warehouse activities to maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance


Procurement & Purchase Support

  • Raise purchase requisitions and coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of materials

  • Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for on-time delivery

  • Monitor material consumption trends and maintain optimum stock levels

  • Assist in vendor evaluation and maintain supplier performance records

  • Prepare documentation including GRNs, purchase orders, stock transfer notes, and dispatch records


Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure warehouse and procurement processes comply with HSE and UAE Labour Law

  • Maintain accurate records for internal audit and management reporting

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and efficiency enhancement


Desired Candidate Profile


Education & Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

    (Diploma or certification in Warehouse / Inventory / Procurement Management is a plus)

  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain, stores, or procurement operations

  • Experience in paint, chemical, FMCG, or industrial product industries preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems for inventory and procurement management
