Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise topographical survey activities including traversing, leveling, detail surveys, and GPS measurements.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee survey crews to ensure accurate and timely completion of fieldwork.
  • Verify calibration and proper operation of total stations, GPS equipment, and other survey instruments.
  • Review field data, calculations, and mapping results for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain records of survey data, drawings, and reports for submission to project engineers and consultants.
  • Ensure survey benchmarks, reference points, and control networks are correctly established and maintained.
  • Coordinate with design and construction teams to provide topographical data essential for engineering and layout works.
  • Monitor and enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards during all site activities.
  • Report daily progress, site challenges, and data discrepancies to the Survey Manager/Team Leader.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in topographical surveying and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of survey methodologies, land measurement techniques, and construction layouts.
  • Proficiency in survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, Drone Mapping).
  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.) and data processing tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.

Working Conditions

  • Site-based role.
  • Outdoor work in varying terrain and weather conditions.
  • Transport, and site allowances may be provided.
