Roles & Responsibilities
ROLE SUMMARY
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for leading and executing key sustainability initiatives across all Operating Companies (OpCos), ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability commitments, global best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role will focus on local economic development, supply chain sustainability, talent empowerment, workplace wellbeing, emissions reduction, circular economy initiatives, and waste management.
ROLE PROFILE
Lead the development and execution of waste reduction initiatives, ensuring responsible sourcing strategies are implemented across all OpCos
Collect, collate, and analyze total and local spend data across all OpCos, ensuring data integrity and alignment with sustainability reporting requirements.
Drive supplier engagement with the service provider to ensure full participation in the annual Scope 3 emissions survey, while collaborating with OpCos to ensure accurate and timely collection of suppliers spend data and emissions tracking.
Lead local supplier capability assessments across all Operating Companies (OpCos), ensuring actionable insights are delivered to enhance local supplier engagement
Take full accountability for designing, implementing, and managing career accelerator programs to ensure talent progression across OpCos
Drive the delivery of initiatives to enhance employee wellbeing, ensuring the implementation of top recommendations from the annual Healthy Workplaces survey
Ensure 100% delivery of sustainability training for employees and Tier 1 suppliers in priority roles by 2028, with yearly increases in training reach and participation.
Regularly review and enhance the policy in collaboration with OpCos to adapt to evolving sustainability standards and business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sustainability, procurement, or corporate social responsibility, with a focus on measurable outcomes
Proven expertise in employee wellbeing initiatives, workplace accreditations, and sustainability training program delivery
Strong knowledge of accounting, waste management, emissions reduction strategies, and compliance with science-based targets
