Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A Liusie General Trading LLC is looking for a skilled System Administrator & Networking Officer to oversee our IT infrastructure. In a fast-paced trading environment, uptime is everything. You will ensure our servers, ERP connections, warehouse networks, and communication channels operate seamlessly to support our global trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Infrastructure Management: Maintain and monitor local servers and cloud backups to ensure 24/7 availability for trading and logistics operations.
-Network Security: Manage firewalls, secure VPNs for remote staff, and protect company data against localized cyber threats.
-ERP Support: Assist in the maintenance and hardware integration of the company’s ERP system (e.g., SAP, Tally, or Oracle) across different branches.
-Hardware & CCTV: Oversee the maintenance of office hardware, IP telephony (VoIP), and CCTV systems across the office and warehouse facilities.
-Vendor Management: Liaise with local ISPs (Etisalat/Du) and hardware vendors for procurement and troubleshooting.
-Compliance: Ensure all IT activities align with UAE data privacy regulations and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience & Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
-5+ years of experience in the UAE market, preferably within the General Trading or Wholesale sector.
-Strong familiarity with Fortinet or Cisco networking environments.
Technical Skills:
-Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and Azure.
-Proficiency in configuring VLANs, VPNs, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
-Knowledge of NAS storage solutions (Synology/QNAP) for data redundancy.
-Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory.
Soft Skills:
-Fluency in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus for vendor/staff coordination).
-Ability to work independently and handle emergency "on-call" situations.
-Valid UAE Driving License (preferred, for travel between office and warehouse).
