Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:


Working with the cybersecurity team to maintain the organization's information security posture and protect it from cyber threats.


Main tasks:


- Perform initial analysis of confirmed alerts to determine the root cause and extent of impact.


- Implementing the initial stages of false positive and false negative analysis.


- Prepare weekly reports through the dedicated platform and share them with Level 2 Cyber Security Operations Center analysts for review.


- Monitor and update cybersecurity incidents and requests based on customer updates and analysis results.


- Escalate confirmed cybersecurity incidents in accordance with established escalation procedures.


- Collecting necessary records that assist in the process of containing cybersecurity incidents and security investigations.


- Receive, analyze, and verify cybersecurity incidents received through multiple channels such as email, phone calls, or administrative directives, etc.


- Receive, analyze, and verify incidents resulting from interconnected events through the dedicated platform.


- Perform additional tasks related to this job as needed.


Requirements

Qualifications and experience:


- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or any IT-related major


- 0 to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity (fresh graduates are welcome).


Professional Certifications:  (At least two of the following certificates)


Security+

CEH

eLearnSecurity Certified Incident Responder

EC-Council Certified Security Analyst
