Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Talent Development Lead is responsible for strengthening the organization’s capability by designing and enabling structured learning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives. In a manufacturing environment, the role focuses on building technical capability, leadership readiness, and functional expertise across operations, engineering, and support functions. Working closely with the HR Head and business leaders, the Talent Development Lead translates capability requirements into structured development programs, learning journeys, and leadership pipelines that support operational excellence and long-term organizational growth.
Partner with business leaders across manufacturing, engineering, and support functions to identify capability requirements
Translate operational and strategic priorities into focused development programs
Identify future skill requirements linked to growth, technology adoption, and operational expansion
Design and institutionalize the organization’s learning and development framework
Strengthen capability development across manufacturing operations and technical functions
Design leadership development initiatives for supervisors, plant leaders, and functional managers
Enable mentoring and coaching interventions for high-potential employees
Enable Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees and leaders
Track and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
8–12 years of experience in HR with strong exposure to Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development
Experience designing and implementing leadership development and capability building initiatives
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial organizations preferred
Experience working with operations leaders, plant management, and functional heads
Strong program design, facilitation, and stakeholder management capability
Familiarity and experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantge
