Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and organizing age-appropriate learning materials, ensuring a stimulating and engaging environment for children's activities.
- Provide individualized support to children, understanding their unique learning styles and needs to foster their development.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and encouraging positive social interactions and conflict resolution.
- Help with the implementation of lesson plans and activities, contributing to a structured and enriching educational experience.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and transitions, to maintain a consistent and supportive schedule.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents, sharing observations and updates on children's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom/play area, promoting a healthy and conducive environment for learning and play.
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks, such as diaper changes, feeding, and dressing, ensuring children's physical needs are met.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in childcare and education.
- Adapt to the needs of the children, including but not limited to children with special needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates experience in a childcare or educational setting, preferably with experience in early childhood education.
- Exhibits a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience, showing a proven track record in childcare or education.
- Displays proficiency in English, with additional language skills considered a valuable asset for communication.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Exhibits patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children, creating a nurturing environment.
- Possesses a physically fit disposition, capable of engaging in activities with children and handling caregiving tasks.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and maintain a structured environment.
- Exhibits a positive and enthusiastic attitude, creating a joyful and engaging atmosphere for children.
