Job Overview
Kings School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food and Nutrition and Hospitality to join our team in January 2026. You will join a dynamic and passionate team and will be responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.
Following the National Curriculum for England, AQA GCSE Food, Preparation and Nutrition and BTEC Hospitality, you will inspire your students daily, to become engaged, independent, and successful life-longer learners.
You will receive unparalleled support to ensure you are able to deliver such an education, allowing you to fully commit to our mission of the best by every child .
Essential
We are looking for someone who is:
- Hold a relevant Bachelors Degree
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and sheer enthusiasm for the subject that you are ready to share with our students
- Experience of teaching GCSE, A Level or BTEC Level 2 or 3
- A minimum of 3 years experience, though new teachers who are aspiring to be outstanding will be considered
- Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of delivering outstanding results
- A highly collaborative nature and strong communication skills
- Evidence of commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role
- Ideas that will help to further the high profile of the department within the school
- ICT skills that reflect the impact of technology in today s classrooms
- A commitment to the extra-curricular programme
- Commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care
- Innovative, creative and positive mindset
Desirable
- Experience of working overseas or with international students
