Technical Lead - Payment Service Provider

We are hiring a Technical Lead Payment Service Provider (PSP) to lead the architecture and delivery of a regulated payments platform backed by a well-established UAE-based group with interests across financial services and digital platforms.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for building secure, scalable, and compliant payment infrastructure, and contributing directly to the CBUAE PSP license application.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end payment processing architecture

• Design and oversee acquiring, issuing, and settlement systems

• Lead banking integrations with UAE and international banks

  • APIs, SWIFT, SEPA, and local payment rails

• Integrate and manage payment gateways such as Stripe, Checkout.com, Adyen, or equivalents

• Design and implement fraud prevention and AML transaction monitoring systems

• Architect settlement, reconciliation, and reporting workflows

• Design and integrate crypto on-ramp / off-ramp infrastructure (where applicable)

• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
