Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all technical matters related to civil works across projects

  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to project and site teams

  • Ensure construction methodologies align with design intent and best engineering practices

  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, and clients on design issues and clarifications

  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals

  • Manage design changes, technical queries (RFIs), and value engineering proposals

  • Support project teams in developing construction sequences and methodologies

  • Resolve technical challenges encountered during construction

  • Ensure constructability and optimization of designs and methods

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, standards, and regulations

  • Monitor adherence to project specifications and approved drawings

  • Support QA/QC teams in maintaining technical compliance

  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives

  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Support claims, variations, and technical justifications

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments

  • Participate in technical meetings and project reviews

  • Provide technical input for progress reports and presentations

  • Mentor and supervise engineers and technical staff

  • Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure proper technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

  • Minimum 15–18 years of experience in civil construction projects

  • Proven track record of successfully managing high rise buildings, shopping malls, airports, and theme parks from conception to completion.

  • Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure full compliance.

  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a knack for inspiring teams and driving performance under pressure.
