Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical processes in confectionery production.

  • Lead equipment setup and maintenance (e.g., mixers, cookers, enrobers, cooling tunnels).

  • Launch new production lines and systems with minimal downtime.

  • Improve production processes through automation and technical upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and engineering regulations.

  • Manage technical teams and ensure proper training.

  • Coordinate with contractors for system design and installation.

  • Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food industry (preferably confectionery).
  • Strong experience with process automation, PLC/SCADA, and industrial refrigeration.
  • Project leadership and team management experience.
  • Experience with Trakhees, DEWA, and related government bodies is a plus.
