Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate Technical Services Executive to join our design team, reporting to the Director of Design & Technical Servicesspan> based in our Dubai Corporate Office/span>. This role plays a critical part in supporting the development and design process, ensuring the seamless implementation of Aman s standards and brand objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to superior design strategies and technical solutions, helping translate design intent into exceptional built outcomes that reflect Aman s commitment to excellence, refinement, and timeless design.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate design activities across internal teams and external consultants.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
  • Develop and monitor project and design program schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members, corporate teams, and external project teams to manage information flows and data exchange.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawing logs, review comments, and approval records.
  • Track project and Aman Standards schedules, lists & briefs.
  • Review and track consultant submissions, including drawings, reports, and material boards.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings and assist in providing design and technical services guidance, ensuring adherence to Aman s brand standards and safeguarding the brand s design integrity and promises.
  • Manage Technical Service Team Smartsheet project management tool: update schedules updated, track design documentation, coordinating with internal teams.
  • Participate in site meetings and support on-site coordination.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor s degree in design or architecture is required
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an architect or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role
  • Familiarity with luxury hotel, residences and resort project delivery. Design & Technical Services background with luxury hotel operator preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and cultural sensitivity. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity and interest in office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Bluebeam Revu is desirable. Tech savvy and up to date with the latest office application
  • This position does not attract visa sponsorship. Candidates must already have existing permission to live and work in the UAE. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required as part of the recruitment process
