Our products, including Bulk SMS, A2P SMS, HLR, SMSC Gateway, and SMS Firewall, are essential to our clients worldwide, helping them engage and connect with customers effectively.

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with strong expertise in Linux, MySQL, and SMS technologies. The role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of Broadnet's infrastructure by providing technical assistance, resolving issues, and maintaining systems to support business continuity.


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to both staff and clients, with a focus on SMS technologies and SMPP protocol.
  • Train users in software functionalities and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly while monitoring system performance.
  • Maintain database integrity and security.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the SMS sector, with strong knowledge of MySQL, TCP, HTTP, and SMPP protocols.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux systems and MySQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent teamwork and knowledge-sharing abilities.
  • Experience using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.

Working Hours

  • Six days per week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at our Business Bay office in Dubai, UAE.
  • Weekend operations follow a hybrid model, including an alternative remote shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
