Founded in 1958 in Paris, Technip expanded its operations in the Middle East with its first office opened in Abu Dhabi in 1984. The company offers Engineering, Construction, and Procurement services, along with Project Management Consultancy and Technical Assistance services, specifically designed for oil and gas industry in the Gulf Region. Headquartered in Île-de-France, the company takes credit of being the largest Engineering, Construction, and Procurement organization in the Middle East, with over 1,500 employees. Technip has a base of some of the leading names in the industry and an efficiency of over 2,000,000 man hours. The company has a satellite office in Doha, Qatar, with more than 90 employees. It also has an extensive experience in revamping of the design projects, and offers complete technical, commercial and financial support.
