Roles & Responsibilities

Key Objectives Operating Model & Strategy: Establish a comprehensive digital procurement operating model and build sustainable internal capabilities. Standardization & Governance: Standardize procurement workflows, implement robust controls, and develop governance frameworks. Supplier & Contract Management: Strengthen vendor performance management and enable end-to-end visibility and control over the Contract Lifecycle (CLM). Operational Digitization: Transform store and inventory operations through digital solutions and optimize technology procurement, cloud services, and licensing. Change Management: Support organizational transitions and drive high levels of user adoption across the new systems. Roles & Responsibilities System Implementation: Lead system configuration, workflow implementation, and the rollout of SRM and CLM platforms. Process Documentation: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), comprehensive documentation, and specialized training content. Strategic Sourcing: Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize technology-related spend. Quality Assurance: Manage end-to-end testing phases and continuous process optimization. Transformation Support: Act as a functional lead for procurement transformation, ensuring all digital tools align with organizational governance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Professional Experience Procurement Transformation: 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting or internal corporate roles, specifically focused on Source-to-Pay (S2P) digitization. Specialized Implementations: Proven track record of leading SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) rollouts (e.g., Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba, or Sirion). Tech Category Expertise: Deep knowledge of Cloud & SaaS licensing models, IT hardware, and software maintenance agreements. Inventory Digitization: Experience in digitizing store operations and automating warehouse/inventory tracking workflows. Technical Skills & Competencies System Configuration: Hands-on ability to configure workflows, set approval matrices, and define system controls. Process Design: Advanced skills in developing SOPs and "To-Be" process maps that standardize complex procurement cycles. Data Analytics: Proficiency in Spend Analysis and building performance dashboards (Power BI or Tableau) to track vendor KPIs and contract compliance. Optimization Frameworks: Familiarity with TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) modeling and cloud consumption/license optimization strategies. Soft Skills & Change Leadership Change Management: Ability to drive user adoption through structured training, stakeholder communication, and "super-user" programs. Governance & Control: A strong "compliance mindset" with experience building governance frameworks that mitigate third-party risk. Strategic Sourcing: Expert negotiation skills with a focus on value-based outcomes rather than just cost-reduction. Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical system requirements into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders. Education & Certifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Information Systems (MBA preferred). Certifications (Preferred): * MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management). PMP or Prince2 (Project Management). Vendor-specific implementation certifications (e.g., Coupa Certified, SAP Ariba).
