Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Position Summary
The TE CM Engineer is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and operational integrity of Digitus transmission and backbone network. The role ensures all microwave, fiber, IP/MPLS, and related transmission systems are configured correctly, continuously monitored, and maintained to meet performance and availability targets across telecom, ICT, and data centre environments.
The engineer plays a key role in supporting network expansions, upgrades, new site integrations, and ensuring smooth coordination with field teams, NOC, project teams, and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support fleet management operations and monitor daily activities at the project site to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in optimizing site-specific logistics operations, including transportation, storage, and distribution.
- Communicate with government entities and follow up on official procedures and permits related to the project site.
- Prepare periodic reports and monitor key performance indicators related to fleet and logistics at the site.
- Help develop and implement technical solutions to improve network and telecommunications performance at the project site.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure project objectives and quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh graduate in Networking & Telecommunications or a related field.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with government entities.
- Ability to work in a team and handle work pressure.
- Proficiency in English
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in reading network design documents and LLD/HLD diagrams.
- Advanced knowledge of telecom transmission technologies.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
