Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Bid Management: Lead the entire tender lifecycle, from tender issuance to final submission.
Analysis & Strategy: Examine the rates, estimate the dry execution cost, and study the technical specifications, contractual terms, and commercial requirements to develop winning bids. Need to have knowledge of all the Civil basic components and engineering estimate and working knowledge of MEP.
Documentation: Lead the team for submission of high quality technical bid submission.
Costing & Pricing: Perform cost calculations by using different methodologies, project budgeting, and price analysis together with historical data.
Contract Compliance: Having working knowledge of FIDC and Identify and assess tender risks, ensuring all submissions align with company policies, legal regulations, and client requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact for Clients during the clarification stage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Post-Tender Support: Manage follow-ups, negotiations, and handover to project teams

JOB DESCRIPTION – TENDERING MANAGER A Tendering Manager oversees the end-to-end bid process, including analyzing tender documents, coordinating technical/commercial inputs, and submitting proposals to secure contracts. Key duties involve developing bidding strategies, managing deadlines, evaluating risk, ensuring compliance, and negotiating terms. Typically required is a degree in Civil Engineering with around 20 years’ experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Real Estate and preferably in Oil & Gas Industries and minimum 8-10 years in Oman / GCC.
