Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors and other agricultural equipment with precision to prepare fields for planting and cultivation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns during critical tasks.
  • Transport crops and materials to specified locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, following all safety guidelines to protect crops and the environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in agriculture or machinery operation is preferred.
  • Valid tractor operator's license and certifications in safety and equipment handling are essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractors in agricultural settings, demonstrating skill and reliability.
  • Experience with precision farming technology and GPS systems is a distinct advantage in modern agriculture.
