Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Training Officer (Ground Personnel), you will be responsible to deliver aviation security training programmes in line with the Emirates Group values, regulatory requirements, international and national standards, and industry best practices to promote a safe and secure environment and safeguard the Emirates Group employees, customers, assets and brand.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver classroom, webinar, and practical aviation security training to ground personnel within the Emirates Group and to external customers, to ensure trainees acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to prevent and manage acts of unlawful interference.
  • Support training specialists in design and development of security training programmes in accordance with the NCASTP and other relevant security requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship and promote security culture and awareness with key internal and external stakeholders including Emirates Group Security Units.
  • Monitor trainee performance, ensure on time classroom attendance and provide feedback as required.
  • Communicate training and operational concerns to the training operations team in a timely manner.
  • Submit training reports and results in a timely manner to ensure the Learning Management System is updated.
  • Recommend new training approaches and training content enhancements that improve existing training packages to ensure the training material meets the needs of learners and the business.
  • Review course feedback in line with the training needs analysis, identify required improvements to ensure course content remains relevant and current, which enhances the learning experience.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with team members, customers, internal and external stakeholders ensuring clarity, consistency and responsiveness.
  • Maintain required trainer qualifications in line with regulatory requirements and engage in continuous professional development by updating knowledge and skill.

Desired Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • 12 years schooling or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in aviation security, training and in delivering presentations to a diverse audience.
  • Proficient in communication and business writing skills.
  • Knowledge of international and national aviation security regulations & requirements.
  • Knowledge of training delivery methodologies and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
