Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Transportation Coordinator to manage daily driver operations and ensure smooth, timely movement of goods from the distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily transport schedules for deliveries and dispatch
Manage and monitor drivers (attendance, routes, discipline)
Ensure timely loading and dispatch of vehicles
Handle driver allocation based on delivery requirements
Track vehicle movement and resolve delays or issues
Maintain transport records (trip sheets, fuel, logs)
Coordinate with warehouse and operations team for planning
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline
2–5 years of experience in transport/logistics operations
Experience handling drivers and dispatch activities
Basic knowledge of Excel and reporting
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to handle pressure and daily operational challenges
