Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To supervise, coordinate and lead a team of transport and logistics assistants in order to achieve performance objectives.
Organize and supervise daily operational activity, guarantee quality, respect for deadlines and procedures.
Plan resources, distribute tasks and monitor individual and collective performance.
Organize and track transport from European suppliers to logistics platforms.
Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers, identify the best solutions in terms of cost and time.
To propose and implement actions for continuous improvement and process optimization.
Ensure the reporting of performance indicators and report to the department head.
Participate in the recruitment, training and skills development of team members.
To intervene quickly to resolve operational problems and critical situations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Terms:
Education level / Foreign languages / Technical expertise:
Education level: higher education.
Foreign languages: French - advanced level, minimum level B2-C1, English - level C1.
Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Outlook Mail.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics/transport/customer service. Team management experience is an advantage.
