Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What this job involves:
- Document and evolve processes related to transport requests and services while ensuring compliance with company policies
 - Conduct auditing and analytic reporting to verify processes are followed in accordance with established guidelines
 - Provide problem-solving solutions to address unplanned external factors including weather disruptions, strikes, and other service interruptions
 - Manage project work focused on improving processes, user interface, and technology for transport portal systems
 - Handle escalation and complaint management while coordinating with vendors to resolve transportation issues
 - Process invoicing as directed and maintain accurate financial records for transportation services
 - Research new programs, pilots, and improvements related to transport functions and operational efficiency.
 
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with ability to interpret data and generate comprehensive reporting
 - Ability to document processes in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) formatting with attention to detail
 - Experience interpreting processes and company policies to ensure compliance in daily practice
 - Strong communication skills for engaging with employees, vendors, and management at various levels
 - Vendor management experience with demonstrated ability to coordinate and oversee service providers
 - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for addressing complex transportation challenges
 - Demonstrated work experience in similar transportation coordination, logistics, or facilities management roles.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with transportation management systems and portal technology
 - Knowledge of local transportation laws and regulatory compliance requirements
 - Project management experience related to process improvements and technology implementations
 - Experience in facilities management or integrated services environments
 - Background in analytics and reporting with advanced Excel or database management skills
 - Customer service experience with escalation and complaint resolution
 - Understanding of predictive planning and contingency management for service disruptions.
