Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.

  • Coordinate schedules and routes for drivers, optimizing logistics to reduce costs and improve service levels.

  • Monitor and maintain vehicle maintenance records, ensuring all vehicles are safe and compliant with regulations.

  • Train and develop drivers and staff, fostering a culture of safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

  • Billing and accounting of all jobs carried out and payment collection from vendors.

  • Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales volume and targets.

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred for a solid theoretical foundation.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management in the UAE, showcasing a proven track record in the field.

  • Certifications such as Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Transportation Management Certification (TMC) are highly desirable.

  • Experience in managing a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff effectively.
