The Sales Assistant role is centered around generating sales and ensuring a positive customer experience in the market hall area. The Sales Assistant supports operational duties as assigned by the shopkeeper, such as arranging products and maintaining the sales floor. Success in this role involves meeting sales targets, adhering to company policies, and creating a welcoming environment for customers. The role requires collaboration with the sales team and active participation in store functions and inventories. A positive attitude and excellent customer interaction are vital components of the job.

What You Will Do:

• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.

• Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.

• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.

• Provide customers with current relevant information.

• Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise, the brand, and the company.

• Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.

• Participate in all market hall inventories.

• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.

• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by the shopkeeper.

• Maintain the sales floor and arrange products as directed by shopkeeper.

• Be punctual and adhere to designated work schedule.

• Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties.

• Follow IKEA policies and procedures 100%.
