Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of UI designers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Set design standards, processes, and workflows for the team.
• Manage team performance, conduct reviews, and ensure team members are meeting goals.

UI Strategy and Design:

• Develop and implement UI design strategies that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Ensure that user interfaces are intuitive, engaging, and consistent across all platforms and devices.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and test design concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that the design aligns with the product's goals.
• Communicate design ideas effectively and incorporate feedback into the design process.

Additional Responsibilities

• Create and maintain design systems and style guides
• Document design processes, decisions, and guidelines
• Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behaviour
• Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Collect and analyse user feedback and adjust layout and features based on it
• Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features
• Develop and maintain detailed user interface specifications
