We are seeking a skilled Unix Operational Support with strong expertise in Unix shell scripting, log analysis, and root cause identification. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with HP-UX/Linux environments and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills. This role involves managing scheduled jobs, restoring data, and preparing applications through script execution and result validation to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and job scheduling.
• Perform in-depth log analysis to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions.
• Manage daily email communications and provide timely updates on system health and job status.
• Oversee execution of scheduled jobs; proactively troubleshoot and resolve failures.
• Restore and recover data as necessary while maintaining system integrity.
• Execute application scripts and validate results to ensure operational accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data and system management.
