Valve Supervisor (MOV & AOV) Adyard Abu Dhabi LLC

Valve Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of a plant's motor-operated (MOV) and air-operated (AOV) valves. Key duties include leading maintenance teams, developing and revising procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring that all work adheres to nuclear safety and operational standards, especially during plant outages. The role requires strong mechanical and supervisory skills, extensive experience in nuclear power, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• System supervision: Lead and oversee the maintenance of MOV and AOV systems, including electrical and pneumatic actuators.

• Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and correct problems with valve systems, conducting both routine and corrective maintenance.

• Refurbishment:Perform refurbishment of MOV and AOV actuators and accessories.

• Diagnostics:Use advanced diagnostic tools, such as Viper20 and VOTES Infinity, to perform diagnostics, calibration, and data analysis.

• Procedural development: Create, issue, and revise maintenance procedures for valves and their associated components.

• Outage management: Manage system work windows and activities during planned outages, coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring milestones are met.

• Safety compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities maintain nuclear safety and comply with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.

• Documentation:Document equipment history reports after maintenance is performed.

• Team support: Provide support to Engineering and Operations departments and contribute to the development of local
