Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Ensure safety, quality inspection, repair, testing, and reliability of all types of valves

  2. Handle Safety Valves (PSV), Control Valves, Mechanical Valves, Automated Valves, Regulators, and Relief Devices

  3. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for valve failures

  4. Witness hydro testing and closure testing activities

  5. Review repair reports, maintenance history, and supplier performance

  6. Support turnaround and shutdown maintenance activities

  7. Coordinate with Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance teams for project execution

  8. Manage valve spares and interchangeability requirements

  9. Perform field inspection and calibration/testing activities when required

Desired Candidate Profile

✔ Strong knowledge of control valves and smart positioners
✔ Experience with:

  • Fieldvue DVC6000 Series

  • Masoneilan SVI / SVII

  • Digital valve controllers & smart positioners

✔ Familiar with:

  • API 527

  • API 598

  • API 2000

  • API 6D

  • ASME B16.34

  • ANSI/FCI 70

✔ Ability to read and understand:

  • P&ID drawings

  • Hook-up drawings

  • Instrument datasheets and control logic
