Summary:

The Cash Van Helper is responsible for assisting the Cash Van Driver in the delivery and distribution of products to customers. The role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing support in customer service activities. The helper plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate handling of goods and contributes to the overall sales process by ensuring smooth delivery operations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Delivery Operations:

o Support the Cash Van Driver in delivering products to retail outlets, ensuring all deliveries are completed on schedule.

o Help load and unload products from the van at each delivery point.

2. Inventory and Stock Handling:

o Maintain accurate records of products loaded and unloaded during each delivery trip.

o Assist in stock rotation by ensuring that older stock is delivered first (FIFO method).

o Ensure no product damage during transit by properly securing items.

3. Customer Service:

o Assist in dealing with customers at delivery points in a polite and professional manner.

o Collect feedback from customers and relay any customer concerns or issues to the Cash Van Driver or supervisor.

4. Safety and Compliance:

o Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies regarding handling products and delivery.

o Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.

5. Documentation:

o Assist the Cash Van Driver in preparing and reviewing delivery documents (invoices, delivery notes, etc.).

o Ensure all documents are signed by the appropriate personnel at delivery points.

6. Support Sales Activities:

o Assist in promoting and upselling additional products during deliveries.

o Provide feedback on market conditions and any issues encountered during deliveries.

7. Accountabilities:

o Sales fundamentals results

o Receivables

Work Conditions:

Physically demanding job requiring lifting and manual labor.

Long hours on the road, including occasional weekend shifts.

Working in various weather conditions during outdoor deliveries.


Languages

Arabic, English (French is a plus)


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Ability to lift and carry heavy items.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic understanding of inventory management.

Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Prior experience in a similar role or with delivery operations is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent
