Job Description:

It is now hiring a Finance Director for its Saudi Arabia operations in Riyadh. This is a high visibility position with strong advancement potential.
Parsons, a leading engineering consultant, currently has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia with over 1,700 employees and turnover in excess of $600M a year. It is committed to doubling its size in the coming years and is looking for a seasoned financial professional to help lead the company on this exciting journey. As the Finance Director, you will be an important member of the management team, setting the financial strategic direction of the company and ensuring proper tactics are being employed to meet the financial goals. You will be working closely with the General Manager, Company Board and the shareholders. You will be responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the company. This position requires domestic travel throughout the country.
Responsibilities:
The Vice President Finance will be responsible for managing the Finance and Accounting team, including:
Ensuring Company results are accurately compiled and presented in a timely manner each month to internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts are prepared in coordination with the company shareholders. Managing the Company banking relationships in regard to bank facilities and cash management Coordinating the annual statutory financial statements and applicable tax returns with the external auditors. Maintaining a strong internal control environment for a rapidly growing company. Further develop a strong Finance and Accounting team that will support the company s growth into the future.
The Vice President will be responsible for formulating and implementing the financial strategy for the company s strategic plan.
The FD must work closely with the company management team to understand the financial implications and opportunities of management s objectives. The FD must work closely with the shareholder partners to ensure objectives are clearly communicated and shareholder requirements and concerns are met. The FD needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of project financial requirements from the bid stage through the execution stage and ending with the closeout stage. The FD must ensure their organization fully supports these requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years experience with increasing Finance/Accounting roles preferably in the engineering and construction industry
- Demonstrated success the role of Finance Director or Equivalent Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Superior communication skills with the ability to manage expectations both up and down the organization
- Incumbent must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Ability to motivate and lead the Company s Finance and Accounting team
- Superior analytical skills with the ability to understand regulations, contracts, business processes and controls, and policy and procedures.
- Must be highly organized and able to meet schedules established.
- Supports the team unity concept and creates an atmosphere of cooperation in the completion of assignments
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
