Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the development and implementation of integrated annual sponsorship plans that align with the organisation's brand and business objectives.
  • Lead the identification, negotiation, and management of sponsorship rights, benefits, and fees to maximise return on investment.
  • Guide the assessment and evaluation of existing and prospective sponsorship opportunities using a comprehensive sponsorship assessment matrix.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in sponsorship activities across the organisation.
  • Advise on the effective activation of sponsorship assets, platforms, and campaigns for both internal and external audiences.
  • Oversee the preparation of post-event/activation reports to summarise achievements and propose improvements.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and visibility of sponsorship initiatives.
  • Lead the development of innovative tools and techniques to improve sponsorship practices and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and international standards in sponsorship activities.
  • Provide strategic counsel to the sponsorship team to achieve functional objectives and drive performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in progressive and more senior-level roles in corporate communications. Preferably experience in a large-scale organisation with complex business operations or experience working in various industries. At least 5 years in a managerial / supervisory position.
  • Experience in sponsorship, brand management, or related fields, with at least 10 years in managerial roles.
  • Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working and lead change.
  • Knowledge of the Group s operations and various sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored corporate communication strategies in line with specific business requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
