Regulatory and Compliance:

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead capability
  • Experience with regulatory bodies (KHDA/MOE)
  • Understanding of UAE educational landscape and cultural sensitivity

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience as a Vice Principal, Deputy Head or similar senior leadership role with secondary experience

  • Bilingual in Arabic and English
  • KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) experience
  • Appropriate degree with UK PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship), Masters in Education and Leadership preferred
  • Experience working in a through school, including EYFS and lower primary
  • Minimum of 8 years of outstanding practice in education
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in senior leadership
  • Valid police checks, attested qualifications and supportive references
