Roles & Responsibilities

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Video Supervisor for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting !

Job Summary: The Video Supervisor ensures the efficient delivery of video operations by managing the operational workforce and optimizing workplace ergonomics to deliver the best performances. They ensure the continuity of operations by planning workforce needs, coordinating equipment availability, and guaranteeing safe, ergonomic, and efficient working conditions.

Responsibilities:

Operational Workforce Management:

  • Define and communicate daily priorities and objectives to operators based on scheduled tasks.
  • Allocate operators to workstations and contracts according to production needs and individual competencies.
  • Coordinate with the Resources Manager to ensure swift replacement of absent operators.
  • Monitor operator efficiency through presence tracking, task focus, and quality of execution.
  • Conduct regular floor walks (minimum once per shift) to assess workstation performance and team dynamics.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions to align operator skills with evolving production requirements.
  • Evaluate operator competencies and encourage skills development and accountability.
  • Support and coach operators on best practices in organization, storage, labelling, and workflow adherence.
  • Foster teamwork and open communication within the operational team and with other departments.

Quality Assurance & Production Efficiency:

  • Perform and oversee quality control (QC) to ensure lean, real-time defect detection.
  • Ensure all operators comply with QC procedures and production standards.
  • Document, update, and disseminate production procedures and technical specifications.
  • Monitor the condition and performance of production equipment; ensure timely tuning and calibration.
  • Rigorously monitor output quality after any change in setup or batch.
  • Optimize startup and completion of production batches to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Immediately escalate quality, format, or equipment issues (via Jira or directly to relevant teams).
  • Resolve technical exceptions rapidly and prevent backlog accumulation.
  • Monitor deadlines, anticipate delays, and take corrective actions to maintain production schedules.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including suggestions and implementation.

Technical Setup & Ergonomic Support:

  • Act as first-line responder for technical failures in live setups; escalate only when necessary.
  • Provide technical recommendations during preparation phases (IT and production).
  • Participate in testing, tuning, and rollout of new setups or modifications to existing setups.
  • Contribute to ergonomic improvements of workstations and working methods.
  • Update setups as required for production alignment and optimization.
  • Change and map VTRs when necessary, ensuring rack configurations remain accurate.

Rules, Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all operators follow internal rules, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Encourage a culture of compliance and proactive improvement within the team.
  • Verify adherence to working hours and ensure accurate operator time tracking.
  • Guarantee proper completion and accuracy of daily reports submitted by the operational team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operational supervision, logistics, or workforce management - preferably in audiovisual, media, or production environments
  • Proven expertise in coordinating daily operations, shift-based teams, and workforce planning
  • Familiarity with audiovisual digitization workflows and basic post-production processes
  • Experience managing multicultural and multilingual teams within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to apply health and safety standards and assess workstation ergonomics
  • Previous exposure to technical setup changes, AV troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
  • Proficient with Excel (medium level) and comfortable using digital tools for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Agile work methodologies
