Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Cultivate a passion for violin playing by creating engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and musical goals, from beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop technical proficiency by guiding students through proper posture, bow technique, and finger placement to establish a strong foundation.
- Nurture musicality by exploring phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation, encouraging students to express their own unique artistic voice through the violin.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support to build confidence and stage presence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Music (Violin Performance or Music Education) or equivalent, demonstrating a solid foundation in music theory and history.
- Possession of a recognized teaching certification or a relevant pedagogical qualification, showcasing a commitment to effective music instruction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching violin to students of various ages and skill levels, illustrating practical teaching expertise.
- Proven experience in preparing students for ABRSM or equivalent examinations, highlighting a track record of student success.
