Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional food and beverage service to officers and guests at the Ministry's Officers Club in accordance with service standards.br>

Set up and prepare dining areas before service.br>

Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.br>

Support daily operations and special events, including sports activities, buffet nights, and official gatherings.br>

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and service areas in line with Ministry regulations.br>

Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally, ensuring clear communication in English.br>

Coordinate with supervisors and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during shifts.br>

Follow Bahrain Ministry rules and regulations, including working hours, overtime procedures, and service protocols.br>

Assist in event setup and breakdown as required based on shift duty and operational needs.br>

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, representing the Officers Club with high service standards.br>

Desired Candidate Profile

Applicants should bring at least two years of relevant experience and a strong dedication to delivering high quality service within a respected government environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a waiter/waitress in a reputable and international restaurant or hotel establishment.
  • Committed to fulfilling a 2-year contract.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, multitasking.
  • Attention to detail, menu memorisation.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.
  • Must provide a valid reference from previous employment.
  • Food safety/handler certification is an advantage.
  • Experienced working abroad is a plus.
