Job Summary:

A leading FMCG Company in UAE is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Warehouse Manager to play a pivotal role in optimizing warehouse management, restructuring the order and fulfillment processes, inventory management, and the implementation of a WMS to ensure the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for restructuring, improving and managing the day-to-day operations of our Dubai distribution center as well as the smaller warehouse in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in FMCG distribution, strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of warehouse management, inventory management, and a proven track record of step-changing operational efficiency and restructuring warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

· Restructure and improve the order management and fulfillment process.

· Improve and manage all warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

· Implement industry best practices for inventory control, space utilization, returns management and order fulfillment.

· Lead initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall productivity.

· Introduce a Warehouse Management System in close cooperation with IT.

· Significantly improve performance targets and standard KPIs such as SL, OTIF, Fill Rate, Inventory Turn, Storage Utilization and Warehouse Productivity.

Deliveries/Logistics Management:

· Develop and implement strategies for efficient transportation and distribution of goods.

· Coordinate with third-party logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective transportation solutions.

· Monitor and analyze transportation costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate contracts with carriers.

· Organize and track delivery drivers to ensure optimal deliveries to all B2B and B2C customers.

Team Leadership:

· Train and lead a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Provide guidance and direction to ensure the team meets performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SL, OTIF, Fill Rate, OOS, Inventory Turn, etc.

Warehouse Budget:

· Plan and prepare the overall warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.

· Control and manage the budget against targets, investigate variances and take corrective action where needed.

Continuous Improvement and Optimization

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall operational effectiveness and efficiency.

· Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

· Stay up to date with latest trends and advancements in Operations and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
