To supervise daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping chemicals, with a focus on safety and compliance with regulations

Responsibilities include inventory management, implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures for handling hazardous materials, training staff, managing warehouse staff and resources, ensuring efficient space utilization, and maintaining an organized, clean, and compliant facility.

1-Operational Responsibilities

• Receiving and Storage: Oversee the accurate receiving, proper storage, and efficient distribution of chemicals, ensuring they are handled according to their specific properties and safety requirements.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular stock audits to ensure availability for production and to track expired or surplus items.
• Shipping and Logistics: Manage the efficient packing and timely dispatch of outbound finished goods and raw materials, coordinating with logistics providers and production.

2-Safety and Compliance

• HSE Standards: Implement and strictly enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals to comply with regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities align with company policies and relevant local, and environmental standards for chemical storage.
• Emergency Preparedness: Act as a Safety Coordinator, reporting accidents, incidents, and near-misses and potentially coordinating safety meetings.

3-Team and Resource Management

• Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse team members, assigning tasks, managing performance, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Resource Optimization: Plan and manage warehouse layout and equipment to optimize space utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and analyze data related to inventory, supply chain progress, employee performance, and operational efficiency to support management decisions.
