Responsibilities

• Receive emergency calls via the Dispatcher s switchboard and initiate timely Emergency and Rescue Services responses.
• Maintain and implement the Call-Out List during major emergencies to ensure all critical parties are informed.
• Log all events and movements of Emergency and Rescue Services vehicles and staff to track availability and create written records for review.
• Monitor and regularly test Dispatcher s room equipment and fire alarm systems to ensure operational readiness.
• Prepare incident reports for the Duty Officer, documenting emergency responses and identifying areas for improvement.
• Record service requests for Emergency and Rescue Services vehicles and equipment, including fueling standbys, and inform the Duty Officer.
• Work 12-hour rotational shifts, including regular overnight shifts.
• Operate effectively in high-stress, major emergency situations.
