Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc and mig-tig machines
Weld metal components together using various welding techniques
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary repairs or adjustments
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Arc and Mig-Tig welding techniques
- Knowledge of welding symbols and blueprints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
- Valid welding certification is a plus
Desired Candidate Profile
