Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize welding processes for various materials, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality in production.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on welded components to adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers to provide input on weldability during the product design phase.
- Prepare detailed welding procedure specifications (WPS) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in welding engineering within manufacturing or construction industries is required.
- Experience with automated welding processes and robotics is a significant advantage in modern manufacturing environments.
