Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute welding procedures with precision, using various welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) to join metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect welds thoroughly, utilizing visual inspection, gauges, and NDT methods to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any defects.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning components to achieve optimal weld quality and joint integrity.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand welding requirements and ensure accurate execution of the work.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a vocational or technical school certificate in welding is a plus.
- Holds a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a welding environment, demonstrating hands-on proficiency.
- Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate execution.
- Exhibits strong technical and hard skills, including knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) and equipment operation.
