Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, you will get to establish, implement, and supervise workplace welfare and safety programs to ensure employee well-being and compliance with health and safety regulations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist the Director of Safety/Quality Assurance in developing and managing workplace safety and welfare programs.
Supervise welfare and safety initiatives to identify and mitigate hazards to employees and property.
Represent the organization in welfare and safety matters, both internally and externally.
Monitor safety program performance and conduct regular facility inspections and audits.
Analyze accident records and prepare periodic reports on safety performance.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and welfare regulations, policies, and best practices.
Develop and implement employee well-being initiatives, including stress management and work-life balance programs.
Serve as a point of contact for employee welfare concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with HR, HSE, and senior management to enhance workplace welfare and employee engagement.
Conduct safety audits by reviewing safety records and analyzing facility inspection results.
Maintain compliance with SHARP Management safety standards and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by the role.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Equivalent experience in workplace safety and welfare may be considered.
15+ years of experience is required
Certifications in well-being, occupational health, or mental health (e.g., NEBOSH, Mental Health First Aid) are preferred.

Strong knowledge of workplace welfare, occupational health, and safety regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
Strong analytical skills for reviewing safety data and identifying risks.
Proven ability to supervise and implement employee well-being programs effectively.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with HR, HSE, and leadership teams.
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making.
