Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Track and manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory and bin locations across production and warehouse facilities.
  • Ensure timely issuance of materials to production floors as per schedules.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production and material handling teams to maintain smooth material flow.
  • Conduct regular bin and WIP audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in WIP and bin records.
  • Update ERP/inventory systems with accurate material movement data.
  • Support implementation of bin management processes and continuous improvements.
  • Monitor space utilization and improve bin organization in warehouse areas.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with internal inventory and material handling procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in WIP management, bin administration, inventory control, or production material handling.
  • Experience working in manufacturing / production / assembly plant environments (preferred).
  • Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics preferred).
  • Strong understanding of WIP processes, material flow, and inventory accuracy standards.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced production environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
