Role Overview

As a Workforce Planning Expert, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and forecasting workforce needs, ensuring that we have the right talent in place to meet business goals. You will collaborate closely with HR, operations, and leadership teams to develop strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development while managing workforce optimization initiatives. Your ability to balance data analysis with actionable strategies will be key to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce Forecasting & Analysis: Conduct data-driven analysis to assess current workforce trends and predict future needs. Create detailed workforce models to guide recruitment, training, and retention efforts.

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive workforce plans aligned with organizational goals, including headcount planning, talent acquisition, and development strategies.

  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to understand business needs and create customized workforce plans that drive organizational performance.

  • Talent Optimization: Identify gaps in talent resources, recommend adjustments, and help design strategies for talent acquisition, training, and upskilling to meet both short- and long-term needs.

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of workforce planning and resource utilization.

  • Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Work with financial teams to align workforce planning with budgetary constraints, ensuring that resource allocation supports organizational priorities.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on workforce planning best practices and implement improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies to drive greater efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of business operations.

  • Proficiency in workforce planning tools and HR software (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar).

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels.

  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
